There will be a rainbow after the rain!

Due to the weather forecast for this weekend, the Canterbury Woods Civic Association fall festival will be rescheduled for Sunday, November 3 from 1 to 4 PM. The festival will still take place at the Canterbury Woods Swim Club pool parking lot (5101 Southampton). The festival is free for dues paying CW residents and $10 per family for others.

Despite the weather, we did not want to cancel this very popular event. Please join us for a fun and welcoming community event. Festivities include: face painting, moon bounce, laser tag, hot dog meals for purchase, chili sampling and more!

Residents…We need your help! There are still plenty of slots to sign-up for volunteers and the chili cook off contest. Copy and paste the links below into your internet browser. Sixth graders in need of community service hours are welcome to sign up!

You won’t want to miss this fun event from 1 p.m. — 4 p.m.! Location? Canterbury Woods Pool parking lot. Activities/entertainment? Face painting, laser tag, corn hole, bouncy houses, DJ, costume judging and the annual chili contest. Bring a bit of cash for the ice cream truck and grilled hotdogs…and the Beer tent. It’s free to Canterbury Woods residents who have paid their annual dues…$10 per family for others.

Parade of Homes Raffle Winners (See below)!

Monica and I really enjoyed the Parade of Homes that happened on the 15th of September. We got to meet some residents that we haven’t met before and got to tour some fantastic homes! Thank you to the homeowners who graciously opened up their homes and for the enthusiasm that you displayed while everyone was in your homes!

Also I would like to thank Kirstin Armstrong, Deirdre Vho, and Ana Hite for undertaking the task of organizing the event! You did an outstanding job!

Thank you to the sponsors of the event, Bauernshub Realty. They made sure that the two mailers that were sent to your house were donated by the Realty team, and they put together some AWESOME gift bags when you picked up your tickets! Thank you Chris and Elizabeth!

You are automatically entered for a $100 Home Depot Gift Card that was donated by Bauernshub Realty Team when you purchase your ticket!

The First Ever Parade of Homes (POH) is 15 September 2019 from 1-4pm. The communities that have houses that will be show cased are located in Canterbury Woods, Stonehaven, and Red Fox Forest.

Proceeds will go to the CW Swimming Pool. We have approximately 13 homes that will be showing renovations that have been done in their homes. Thank you to the homes that volunteered!!

The renovations will include kitchens, bathrooms, patios, etc. We are not going to advertise the houses or their addresses prior to the event. Everyone can pick up their tickets at the Canterbury Woods Swimming Pool Pavilion where you will be issued a lanyard or paper bracelet that shows that you paid for the event. You will be given a list of addresses and the renovations that the homeowner will be showcasing for the POH.

The houses will also be marked with a sign and marker on the outside of their property, but they won’t let you in unless you have your lanyard and/or paper bracelet. This is self-paced, we are not going as a group! Please respect the homeowners and remove your shoes or wear the provided booties upon entering the house. If you bring young kids, please ensure that they stay within the boundaries established by the homeowners.

You can buy your tickets online at the below link prior to the event at a discount. You are also given the option to donate more money if you wish (this is a fundraiser for the pool!)You can also buy tickets at the Pavilion the day of the event!!
